Monday, February 18, 2008 Valentine's Day Interview - Girls Edition (Part 2) hey there, bet u didnt expect a part 2 neither did we! lol :D all these for u lovey-dovey folks. even though valentine's day may have passed but it doesnt mean the valentine's entries have to stop. & remember don't just dedicate a day to honour the person/people u love. it should be a daily habit, do cherish the ones u love everyday & don't ever take them for granted. also, we'll like to thank ALL of the lovely guys & girls who participated in our valentine's day interview :) u pple rock our socks! & of course much love goes to our readers for the ongoing support & comments. alrighties, lets move on to the interviews :) pretty ladies eh.  What does Valentine's Day means to u? Nothing much lol lots of people selling anything resembling a heart, teddy bears holding hearts, chocolate and lingerie =3 Roses and the color red take over the whole month of February, that's Valentine's season. What would u be planning to do on V.Day? Watching 'Jumper' with my family, since it's the day it's released here in Australia. What would u get for a guy for V.Day? If I had one? A sensual massage X3 So it's a win/win situtation What does Valentine's Day means to u? It's a special day to do something special for/with your loved one(s). What would u be planning to do on V.Day? Well, since it falls on a Thursday and my guy's busy with school, we'll be celebrating on Sunday instead, just spending time with each other. I think he's got something planned... I guess it's a surprise? (: What would u get for a guy for V.Day? I'd probably cook or make something for him. But if he wants something at that point in time (like a PSP or something like that, don't know what's up with guys and gadgets), I'd save up and get him one! Since guys usually do the whole fetching us girls from somewhere thing, I'd surprise him by making my way all the way down to his school, wait for him to come down to the bus stop, and give him a single stalk of a red rose, and one of those super gigantic cards that say "Happy Valentine's Day". What do u secretly wish a loved one would do/give on V.Day for u? Nothing grand, just a simple, single stalk of rose would be sweet! What does Valentine's Day means to u? It's an excuse for me to get my hands on arts and craft,eat chocolate and spend time with my love ones. What would u be planning to do on V.Day? Just dine out with my boyfriend after work. What would u get for a guy for V.Day? Hand-made stuff. Do u think giving hand made gifts or gifts that are bought, is better? Why. Hand-made. Firstly, i'm a big fan of crafty things. It also shows how much effort a guy is willing to spare on you. What could be sweeter than a hand-made gift made by a guy who isn't really that artistic in the first place but still tried his best to make one for you?(: Would u be predictable or shocking? I'll take him for a picnic on a hill that has nothing but green grass,an old tree in a middle of the hill and puffy clouds drifting across the sky.we could sky gazing the whole afternoon. What would u be planning to do on V.Day? Since it's like any other day (to me), go on with my daily routine. What would u get for a guy for V.Day? Well, hand made gifts will make almost everyone go AAwwwwwww but I think it doesn't matter as long as it surprises me! Haha. Would u be predictable or shocking? Handmade gifts are more thoughtful and meaningful, while gifts that are bought doesnt involve a lot of time or effort. Great when you are a last minute person, like me. What would u get for a guy for V.Day? Something he either wants really badly, or needs. If I can manage it in time I would get him something he loves, and can't easily get as a surprise. The effort shows in the present and what it means for the both of you. Would u be predictable or shocking? SHOCKING without a doubt. I'd want to pull of something he would never expect and that he will remember for a long time. How would u surprise the guy to take his breath away? It depends on how well I know the guy. I would take note of all the little things, his likes, dislikes and work with it to plan a really special surprise. I'd get him something different, take him somewhere new, fun and romantic. Make the people in this list know that they are loved and make them feel loved. It is also a day where you wil realise if you are a loved one or a "not" one.Annd yes, it isnt just about a girl and a guy, it is about loved ones, family members and friends. What would u be planning to do on V.Day? This time round, I am keeping it simple yet memorable. Bring my date for a movie, have dinner together and just a slow walk at the beach. I like to keep it alternate for More money for lesser places and Lesser money for more placees. Since at the end of the day, it isnt about the Money but if it will be memorable enough. To be honest, 14th of February is just another date. If you're really the one who truly treasures someone dearest to you at heart, everyday should be Valentine's day although that term is deemed cliche. What would u be planning to do on V.Day? Since i'm attached, the only "proper" thing to do is spend time with my dearest by any means that reflects my care towards her. I quoted the word proper because it's not a must-do, it's something you sincerely do, for the sake of your loved one no matter how the extent. What would u get for a girl for V.Day? If it's within my means, i'll get any item she wants. But since it's Valentine's Day, i probably won't get her any gifts. Instead, special events like Valentine's Day, i'd planned on something more memorable. I'd make a poem based on our experiences together for her and then read it to her a candlelight home-made dinner, topping the day off with a moonlight walk on the beach. SO to cut short, i'd be at my best-est self and do the greatest i could for the entire day for my dearest. That's my gift for that special someone. Because since, they're hand-made, it shows that you really put the utmost care and endless efforts to go the extra mile to make someone something unique that no one else has which in turns reflects how special that gift is. Plus, hand-made gifts shows your partner that you truly care for that her. Ordinary gifts potrays that too, but not as strong as something made from scratch. Would u be predictable or shocking? I'd say most probably i'd be shocking. I put serious efforts to make sure suprises that i planned really surprises that someone. i'd leave no room for error. Futhermore, i'd make up any logical story just to throw someone off their suspicion about anything that i have in store. So that makes me quite unpredictable but at the same time shocking, in a postive way. How would u surprise the girl to take her breath away? For me, i'd do something she totally won't expect at any cost. Weeks of beforehand planning are done to ensure the optimum end result. Stringent measures are taken for the benefit of everything. I'll go any extent i have to go just for that surprise. To take her breath away, i'll say things i never said before, i'll do things like i never did before, and i'll be the best bf like she never had before. To sum it up, I'll ensure she'll have such a memorable time that that experience, is forever framed up on the walls of our love anecdotes. What do u secretly wish a loved one would do/give on V.Day for u? Seriously, i'd wish for nothing. I'd rather be the one giving that special someone a great time then waiting for something to happen to me. I don't care if it tires, irritates, takes a toll on me or i don't get anything in return. All that matters is her happiness is ensured no matter the cost. That is the sacrifice i'd be willing to do, just for her sake.
