| Tuesday, February 12, 2008 Valentine's Day Interview - Girls Edition so u heard the boys telling their side of the story of valentine's day. surely now u wanna hear the girls speak :) girls - they're mostly the receivers in this annual event. for most girls, its the day where basic fairytales come true where flowers are received, tears of happiness are shed & most importantly, love is felt. ooh the fluttering of butterflies within is oh-so-sweet! :D enough chatter, lets hear what the ladies have to say alrights! heres the questions:
What does Valentine's Day means to u? A day to get together with loved ones to celebrate friendship and love. What would u be planning to do on V.Day? Hanging out with my "old" friends. What would u get for a guy for V.Day? Nothing? Cuz i dont have a guy yet. Do u think giving hand made gifts or gifts that are bought, is better? Why. I think hand made gifts are better because it gives the other party a sense of sincerity and a part of my heart. Would u be predictable or shocking? Shocking, i guess. How would u surprise the guy to take his breath away? Erm, i'm not sure? ahhaha.. What do u secretly wish a loved one would do/give on V.Day for u? A big teddy bear hug! xD What does Valentine's Day means to u? I think it's an ordinary day that you spend with your loved one. Actually any day can be V day if you want it to be. What would u be planning to do on V.Day? Studying for exams, it's the next day. ): What would u get for a guy for V.Day? If it's like an eye candy, prob something he likes/wants? Do u think giving hand made gifts or gifts that are bought, is better? Why. I think hand made gifts are better. it's more sincere. Would u be predictable or shocking? Not sure, depends on the situation. How would u surprise the guy to take his breath away? I dont know. havent thought about it yet. What do u secretly wish a loved one would do/give on V.Day for u? Actually nothing much. To be with someone you love, is good enough already. What does Valentine's Day means to u? Valentine's Day is a day set aside for us to express affection and love for the people around us. (: What would u be planning to do on V.Day? Ooh.. trick question? :D Spending it with the people I love, naturally. (: What would u get for a guy for V.Day? I'd keep an eye out if he needs something, like a watch or wallet. But for the guy who has everything, I'd probably do something handmade, like a bookmark or nametag. (: Do u think giving hand made gifts or gifts that are bought, is better? Why. Haha opps, I sort of answered that question already, right? Definitely a handmade gift would be better - it's more personal. Would u be predictable or shocking? Mostly predictable, maybe surprising, but not shocking. =X How would u surprise the guy to take his breath away? Gosh, I have no idea. =/ Maybe pretend that I'm not getting him anything, but surprising him with a gift? LOL What do u secretly wish a loved one would do/give on V.Day for u? I'd like a gift with a lot of effort put in, like maybe a planned dinner or dedication. So romantic. :D What does Valentine's Day means to u? A special day with someone i love, doing something we dont normally get to do. What would u be planning to do on V.Day? something fun and memorable for two. What would u get for a guy for V.Day? something made out of love and sincerity, something that would remind him of us. Do u think giving hand made gifts or gifts that are bought, is better? Why. hand made gifts cus theyre really special and no other person in the world will have it. Would u be predictable or shocking? as shocking as possible? i'll still indirectly ask him for his opinions though, just incase he doesnt like it. How would u surprise the guy to take his breath away? they always say the way to a guy's heart is through his stomach right? so yeah. :) What do u secretly wish a loved one would do/give on V.Day for u? a sweet surprise that'll make me smile.  What does Valentine's Day means to u? A normal day. What would u be planning to do on V.Day? Nothing much. having exams on the same week. What would u get for a guy for V.Day? Think i'll make something and maybe get something he wants. Do u think giving hand made gifts or gifts that are bought, is better? Why. Hand made. its more meaningful, shows sincerity. Would u be predictable or shocking? Shocking! How would u surprise the guy to take his breath away? I think i would. What do u secretly wish a loved one would do/give on V.Day for u? AHAHA. something that will surprise me. cant really think of something right now. What does Valentine's Day means to u? This is a toughie! Hmmm, it's so many things for me and it depends on the situation but this year it's the one day of the year that should be... Sweet, Sensuous, Surprising, Splendid and a wee bit Salacious What would u be planning to do on V.Day? If someone happens to ask then I'd go out. If not, then I'll call a friend and we'd go out. What would u get for a guy for V.Day? Something he either wants really badly, or needs. If I can manage it in time I would get him something he loves, and can't easily get as a surprise. Do u think giving hand made gifts or gifts that are bought, is better? Why. It doesn't matter because it's the thought that counts. The effort shows in the present and what it means for the both of you. Would u be predictable or shocking? SHOCKING without a doubt. I'd want to pull of something he would never expect and that he will remember for a long time. How would u surprise the guy to take his breath away? It depends on how well I know the guy. I would take note of all the little things, his likes, dislikes and work with it to plan a really special surprise. I'd get him something different, take him somewhere new, fun and romantic. If all that fails, a killer outfit and a kiss should do the trick. What do u secretly wish a loved one would do/give on V.Day for u? I think I want what every girl wants, to feel like a princess. To have flowers and candlelight. To be taken out, somewhere romantic (hopefully in a car). To dine at CHIJMES, or even by the sea. Then to go for a walk and dessert, Hey if he has day-time activities then by all means. What does Valentine's Day means to u? Planning something sweet and romantic. What would u be planning to do on V.Day? Probably dinner by the river with homemade food. What would u get for a guy for V.Day? Food. lotsa food. with red petals and candles as decoration. Do u think giving hand made gifts or gifts that are bought, is better? Why. I always do hand made gifts for special occasions cuz it cannot be found anywhere else and only the both of you know what's happening inside that gift. gifts that are bought can be given on random days. Would u be predictable or shocking? I'm shocking. How would u surprise the guy to take his breath away? Haha :D i would bring a poloroid and snap random pictures and make a collage for him. What do u secretly wish a loved one would do/give on V.Day for u? Easy. him to appear at my door at about 4pm so we can have dinner and enjoy the evening amongst the stars (: alrighties, there u go. u heard what both genders have to say abt V.day :) don't have a date? no worries, ask ur single buddies out & have a great time! can't celebrate cos of upcoming exams? us girls from FGTG wish u gd luck! gambatte! don't celebrate V.day? well then breathe in the scent of love lingering in the air :) wanna know how us girls from FGTG 'celebrate' Vday? u'll be surprised, u'll be pleasantly surprised. stay tuned to see an entry on that eh? much love, FGTG! |
