YES, valentine's day is just around the corner. hey, be it whether ur single or attached - it's definitely a day to be spent with loved ones no matter who they are :) here we have interviewed a bunch of lads a few questions regarding valentine's day. are they romantic at heart? & the brudders out there, amacam can handle valentine's day? if no then maybe u should read what these guys have to share. & girls, some of these might be a treat, ehem. psst! if u wanna know more abt the guys, kindly click the word 'friendster' below their picture & it'll direct u to their friendster profile. happy? these are the questions:
 What does Valentine's Day means to u? Guy plans the perfect date, asks the girl out, guy tries to charm girl. What would u be planning to do on V.Day? I'm single. Have no plans at the moment. What would u get for a girl for V.Day? Flowers, chocolates, lavish gifts and lots of love. Do u think giving hand made gifts or gifts that are bought, is better? Why. A little bit of both. Why? to be special and unique. but ultimately, should the majority of the effort be channeled towards the gift/s or the girl? Would u be predictable or shocking? Shocking.. definitely. but never overboard on her expense. How would u surprise the girl to take her breath away? Something imaginable. Anything to make her smile sweetly at you for the rest of the week. What do u secretly wish a loved one would do/give on V.Day for u? I give but i don't expect. No comments. What does Valentine's Day means to u? Celebrating with someone who means something to you? *I wouldn't know cause im SINGLE! See the word? S-I-N-G-L-E!* What would u be planning to do on V.Day? IF someone's asking me out, i'll go out with her. if not, just say to myself " I LOVE YOU " in the mirror. Should be okay right? x) I rather someone ask me out because everytime i try to get a date, I'll get rejected. )= What would u get for a girl for V.Day? Tough question. Depends on what she likes. Normally, nothing! HAHA! But I'll treat her to dinner, i guess? Do u think giving hand made gifts or gifts that are bought, is better? Why. Definitely hand made. More sincere. But i doubt I'll be doing it 'cause I'm such a lazy bum! How would u surprise the girl to take her breath away? Seriously no idea. But what I know is I'll try my best to make the girl laugh till her boobies jiggle and..yeah, WE BOTH enjoy the date. *kidding on the boobies jiggling part* What do u secretly wish a loved one would do/give on V.Day for u? Just invite me out and have fun with me. Maybe cap the day/night off with a kiss on my forehead. C'mon! Girls can do that too, right? Not just guys! What does Valentine's Day means to u? Valentines means nothing to me as i dont believe in only caring for your love ones only on that "special" day. What would u be planning to do on V.Day? Going to school? What would u get for a girl for V.Day? Nothing. i dont have a special girl :D Do u think giving hand made gifts or gifts that are bought, is better? Why. I'll just let the person choose the gifts. it saves my time and they like their gifts. its a win-win situation :D Would u be predictable or shocking? I am shockingly predictable. Not just any girl, must be girlfriend. ninety-nine purple roses & a meal on the ferris wheel Do u think giving hand made gifts or gifts that are bought, is better? Why. Yes, it's better because girls will go crazy but i don't know how/lazy to make Would u be predictable or shocking? I want to be shocking but any girl would have predicted everything that's shocking How would u surprise the girl to take her breath away? Spend the entire night with me watching stars till the next morning then we shall catch the sunrise together What does Valentine's Day means to u? It is just another day. I think it is seriously over-rated nowdays. It is rather crazy that has become so commercialized. Businesses take this opportunity to hike up prices! Restaurants and flowers are so damn expensive. Okay I’m like only complaining because I’m still a poor student who is not earning. However, I guess it’s a good day to spent with your love ones, esp your family and friends. What would u be planning to do on V.Day? I will be boring. I'll spent the day alone at the library to study since I got my midterm test on the 18th. Haha Oh well I have no one in my mind right now and I find it pointless getting all desperate just to score yourself a date on v-day. Plus I never had good memories of v.day What would u get for a girl for V.Day? If I have the money: For a friend – Just a simple jewellery (earrings, necklace or bracelets) or a very big teddy bear. For a special someone – flowers and a watch preferably a couple watch as seen on those magazines Do u think giving hand made gifts or gifts that are bought, is better? Why. Based on my capability I will most probably buy something as i totally suck at arty stuff and i'm not that talented in such areas. However I really appreciate handmade gift as I’m quite sentimental and i value the time and effort committed in making the gifts. Such gifts are priceless! Having said that honestly I guess the value of the gift doesn’t matter but rather it’s the thought that counts. I know it sounded abit cliché but it’s true. Would u be predictable or shocking? I guess everyone pretty much love surprises =) How would u surprise the girl to take her breath away? - Ideally I will like a romantic a dinner at home. With me, cooking all those dishes. With all those nice setting with candles and flower petals with sappy, love songs playing in the background. That’s my idea of a perfect date! - Stop the car half at a road while driving, run to the back the boot of the car and take out the flowers and present it to her. - Be there early in the morning, sneak into her room and plant a kiss on her cheeks. Present her with a bouquet of flowers the moment she open her eyes. What do u secretly wish a loved one would do/give on V.Day for u? - Cook for me!! And spent a romantic dinner with me and with us cuddling and star gazing after dinner.... and not to forget the desserts - Light candles and form heart formation. Shout for my name and shout i love you or serenade me from under block. - A boat ride along singapore river would be nice What does Valentine's Day means to u? Doesnt mean that much actually What would u be planning to do on V.Day? Nothing much, I wont be in spore. I'll be off vacationing in Thailand :) What would u get for a girl for V.Day? Currently no girlfriend and I also wont be in spore Do u think giving hand made gifts or gifts that are bought, is better? Why. One of each perhaps? Would u be predictable or shocking? Lol :D I've got no imagination What does Valentine's Day means to u? It's a special day where Bilions of people from two gender of different perception and mindset get together with a common intention of gaining companionship to further develop and strengthen personal relationship and ties that have or will be binding both heart. What would u be planning to do on V.Day? I'll be looking forward to having both of us actively involve in couple related activities like bowling and etc. All healthy ones certainly. What would u get for a girl for V.Day? I wouldn't be too overspending as she will be worried over money wastage. Its the companionship that is sought more. So perhaps i'll get her things that she could use on daily basis like a handbag/wallet/perfume apart. Not forgetting red roses to mark the occassion of course Do u think giving hand made gifts or gifts that are bought, is better? Why. Most people that I have known inclusive myself appreciate all gifts especially hand made ones. Hand made ones have a more personal touch to it. Would u be predictable or shocking? Preferably shocking to add more spice for the day. How would u surprise the girl to take her breath away? Well one of the masterplan would be a light peck on her cheek just to make her blush first before next plan on the agenda. What do u secretly wish a loved one would do/give on V.Day for u? I wish she would also mark the day by reassuring both of us that we will continue to grow old together with each other as companion and hopefully as life-long ones. What does Valentine's Day means to u? Everyday is a loving day but Valentine's day is a day where we "refresh" our minds and see if there is any new people on the "loved ones" list. Make the people in this list know that they are loved and make them feel loved. It is also a day where you wil realise if you are a loved one or a "not" one.Annd yes, it isnt just about a girl and a guy, it is about loved ones, family members and friends. What would u be planning to do on V.Day? This time round, I am keeping it simple yet memorable. Bring my date for a movie, have dinner together and just a slow walk at the beach. I like to keep it alternate for More money for lesser places and Lesser money for more placees. Since at the end of the day, it isnt about the Money but if it will be memorable enough. What would u get for a girl for V.Day? I always like to get two types of gift. One, to be eaten the other to be kept. But one thing that i will like to get for my date always will be Smiles and blushes through out the day. Do u think giving hand made gifts or gifts that are bought, is better? Why. Giving hand made gifts is better, as it shows sincerity and it shows the effort and importance we are giving for the date, since many are stereotypical that guys do not really care about the gifts they get for the girl, therefore giving them hand made gifts will make them feel special. Would u be predictable or shocking? I love to be more shocking as surprises and excitement will add spice to the day. Get a reservation for a table in a hotel for Dinner without her knowing, send her flowers ; simple yet memorable. How would u surprise the girl to take her breath away? Bring her on a Cruise without her knowing. Yes and the best way to take her breath away, get her a diamond ring What do u secretly wish a loved one would do/give on V.Day for u? Time, commitment just for the whole day. Will wish that the other party will also know that Valentine's day isnt just about the girls but also the guys, and having a girl to give a guy a surprise? Wonderful. What does Valentine's Day means to u? It gives me another reason to do something really nice and romantic for that special someone. What would u be planning to do on V.Day? Something that we don't really get to do on the other days of the year. Something really special and genuine, that other guys wouldn't do. What would u get for a girl for V.Day? Something that she has never gotten before, something uniquely me. Do u think giving hand made gifts or gifts that are bought, is better? Why. Hand made definitely! Let the chick know that you're sincere and that she means the world to you. Anybody can buy gifts, but it takes time and sincerity to make one fromt the heart. Would u be predictable or shocking? Predictable will just make me like any other guy out there, shocking will make me and that special day all the more memorable. How would u surprise the girl to take her breath away? I'll just be me and do what i do best. Some quiet time by the beach under the stars, with food we cooked/packed, enjoying the night, sound of the waves, and most importantly each other's company. What do u secretly wish a loved one would do/give on V.Day for u? Enjoy and appreciate the special things i've had planned for her on that day, that's all i ask. What does Valentine's Day means to u? Couples day What would u be planning to do on V.Day? Going out i guess What would u get for a girl for V.Day? Buy cos' if u are not that skilled, u may a gift that looks like shit :D Would u be predictable or shocking? None, i will be mysterious How would u surprise the girl to take her breath away? Ask for her hand? i guess, that wont take her breath away? lol What do u secretly wish a loved one would do/give on V.Day for u? Ahem, her love? What does Valentine's Day means to u? To be honest, 14th of February is just another date. If you're really the one who truly treasures someone dearest to you at heart, everyday should be Valentine's day although that term is deemed cliche. What would u be planning to do on V.Day? Since i'm attached, the only "proper" thing to do is spend time with my dearest by any means that reflects my care towards her. I quoted the word proper because it's not a must-do, it's something you sincerely do, for the sake of your loved one no matter how the extent. What would u get for a girl for V.Day? If it's within my means, i'll get any item she wants. But since it's Valentine's Day, i probably won't get her any gifts. Instead, special events like Valentine's Day, i'd planned on something more memorable. I'd make a poem based on our experiences together for her and then read it to her a candlelight home-made dinner, topping the day off with a moonlight walk on the beach. SO to cut short, i'd be at my best-est self and do the greatest i could for the entire day for my dearest. That's my gift for that special someone. Do u think giving hand made gifts or gifts that are bought, is better? Why. Personally, i think hand-made gifts are much better. Because since, they're hand-made, it shows that you really put the utmost care and endless efforts to go the extra mile to make someone something unique that no one else has which in turns reflects how special that gift is. Plus, hand-made gifts shows your partner that you truly care for that her. Ordinary gifts potrays that too, but not as strong as something made from scratch. Would u be predictable or shocking? I'd say most probably i'd be shocking. I put serious efforts to make sure suprises that i planned really surprises that someone. i'd leave no room for error. Futhermore, i'd make up any logical story just to throw someone off their suspicion about anything that i have in store. So that makes me quite unpredictable but at the same time shocking, in a postive way. How would u surprise the girl to take her breath away? For me, i'd do something she totally won't expect at any cost. Weeks of beforehand planning are done to ensure the optimum end result. Stringent measures are taken for the benefit of everything. I'll go any extent i have to go just for that surprise. To take her breath away, i'll say things i never said before, i'll do things like i never did before, and i'll be the best bf like she never had before. To sum it up, I'll ensure she'll have such a memorable time that that experience, is forever framed up on the walls of our love anecdotes. What do u secretly wish a loved one would do/give on V.Day for u? Seriously, i'd wish for nothing. I'd rather be the one giving that special someone a great time then waiting for something to happen to me. I don't care if it tires, irritates, takes a toll on me or i don't get anything in return. All that matters is her happiness is ensured no matter the cost. That is the sacrifice i'd be willing to do, just for her sake.
